Wedgefield Golf & Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Orlando, Florida.
Wedgefield first opened for play in 1963. The course was designed by Albert Anderson. A longtime Central Florida favorite with lush cypress lined fairways and well bunkered greens, Wedgefield is a classic Florida style course. Formerly known as Rocket City and Cape Orlando, Wedgefield Golf Club has matured into a player's delight.
Their diverse collection of holes tests all facets of the game. There are short holes demanding accuracy and long holes that require length. Water can be found on eleven holes along with sixty-seven bunkers between the first tee and the eighteenth green. A great round can only be carded if you can successfully survive the punishing final four holes. Great course for the money. Generally friendly people, great staff
